Life is sometimes tough.
This is not because we are forgotten by God. Quite the opposite. Hardships and struggles happen because the Father is lovingly guiding our lives through experiences that unlock the greatness He’s placed within every son and daughter.
You are not alone and you’re not a victim of a harsh, cold world where ‘survival of the fittest’ determines who eats and who gets eaten. You’re a child of God, closely watched and greatly loved. The same Father who trains His children, also gives grace and help to endure the lessons, because the training is all about learning to depend more on Him. You’re not meant to be strong on your own.
”You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus…Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:1-3
We’re learning to become strong and to endure the way a soldier fights a battle. But it’s Christ who gives us the strength that we need to endure. His grace lifts us with energy, courage, love, sustenance and joy for life’s toughest challenges. And the companionship of brothers.
Open your heart to the Father and receive His grace and strength. His Holy Spirit will lift you up the way the wind lifts an eagle. As you soar in His Presence you’ll enjoy the fresh hope and vision of the open skies, and the quiet peace of high altitude.
