The purpose of the sessions was to explore both the purpose and practice of meditation, or what I call the two “T”s – techniques and targets. We need to expand our understanding of different meditation techniques because a single method may not be optimal for us at different stages of our journey, and certain techniques work better for some people than others. Most important is to remain focused on the purpose of meditation, the target, because this is where the power lies to transform, deepen and energize.
In this course we begin with science and a basic understanding of how meditation affects our neurology. From there we move into faith-based aspects of meditation that lead to experiences of our own spiritual nature and the divine Presence within us.
